Soft Christmas Peppermints Candy (Recipe for Printing)

Festive, melt-in-your-mouth peppermint candies perfect for holiday gifting or dessert trays.

# What You Need:

→ Base

01 - 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar, plus extra for dusting
02 - 1/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
03 - 1 teaspoon peppermint extract

→ Finishing

04 - Granulated sugar, for rolling
05 - Food coloring, as desired

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, peppermint extract, and 2 cups of powdered sugar.
02 - Stir the mixture until it becomes smooth and creamy.
03 - Gradually incorporate the remaining powdered sugar, mixing after each addition, until a soft, pliable dough forms that is no longer sticky.
04 - Add a few drops of food coloring if desired and knead until the color is evenly distributed.
05 - Dust the work surface with powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
06 - Divide the dough by color if using multiple colors. Roll each colored portion into ropes about 1/2 inch thick.
07 - Cut the ropes into small pieces or shape into small balls as desired.
08 - Roll each mint in granulated sugar to create a sparkling exterior and prevent sticking.
09 - Transfer mints to a parchment-lined tray and let stand for 1 hour, allowing the exterior to firm while the interior remains soft.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two weeks for best freshness.
02 - Ideal for gifting during holidays or as a festive addition to dessert tables.
