Peel sweet potatoes and cut into evenly sized chunks. Place potatoes in a large pot and cover with cold water.

Set pot over medium-high heat and bring to a boil. Cook for 15 to 20 minutes until sweet potatoes are fork-tender. Drain thoroughly.

Return drained sweet potatoes to pot. Mash with a potato masher until smooth and lump free.

While potatoes are warm, add unsalted butter and raw honey. Stir until butter is melted and the mixture is creamy.

Gradually pour in whole milk or heavy cream and mix to achieve desired consistency. Season with salt and ground cinnamon, stirring until fully combined.
