Set oven to 375°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Arrange one puff pastry sheet on a work surface. Lay cheese slices evenly over the pastry, followed by an even layer of ham. Place the second pastry sheet on top and press gently to seal.

Slice the prepared pastry into strips approximately 1 inch wide. Fold each strip back and forth in a zigzag pattern onto a wooden skewer to mimic the shape of a tree.

Combine melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley in a small bowl. Brush the mixture generously over each assembled pastry tree.

Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 20 to 25 minutes or until pastry is puffed and golden brown.

Allow to cool briefly. Best served warm, but also enjoyable at room temperature.
