Beef Sausage Rolls Appetizer (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 400 g ground beef
02 - ½ cup panko bread crumbs
03 - 30 cm x 15 cm puff pastry
04 - 1 egg
05 - ½ tsp garlic powder
06 - ½ tsp salt, plus additional for egg
07 - ¼ tsp black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Mix ground beef, panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl until well combined.
02 - Beat an egg with a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
03 - On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry and slice it into two lengthwise sections.
04 - Divide the meat mixture into two and shape each portion into a roll matching the length of the puff pastry.
05 - Place each meat roll on top of a pastry strip and roll the pastry around the meat until fully enclosed.
06 - Cut each roll into 8 equal pieces, yielding a total of 16 sausage rolls.
07 - Place the sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, then brush with the prepared egg wash.
08 - Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
09 - Let the sausage rolls cool slightly and serve warm.
