Place chicken pieces evenly in the base of the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.

Remove chicken from the slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth and pour into the sauce. Stir well, cover, and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened. Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with the sauce.
