# What You Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
02 - 1 cup pineapple juice
03 - 1/2 cup soy sauce
04 - 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
05 - 1/4 cup ketchup
06 - 2 garlic cloves, minced

→ Optional for Thickening

07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
08 - 1 tablespoon water

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, whisk pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, and minced garlic until the mixture is well blended.
02 - Place chicken pieces evenly in the base of the slow cooker. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
03 - Cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
04 - Remove chicken from the slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with water until smooth and pour into the sauce. Stir well, cover, and continue cooking for 10 to 15 minutes until thickened. Return chicken to the slow cooker and coat with the sauce.
05 - Serve the chicken hot, accompanied by rice, pineapple chunks, and a garnish of green onions if desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For enhanced flavor and texture, add sliced bell peppers or onions in the final hour of cooking. For a spicier result, incorporate sriracha or chili flakes to taste.
