# What You Need:

→ Dough

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 cup brown sugar
04 - 2 large eggs, at room temperature
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 3 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
09 - 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 - Pinch of salt

→ Finishing

11 - Powdered sugar for dusting

# How to Make It:

01 - Set the oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow to preheat fully.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat using a mixer on medium speed until the mixture appears light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
03 - Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract, ensuring each ingredient is thoroughly incorporated before adding the next.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and a pinch of salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, blending just until a cohesive dough forms.
05 - Scoop the dough onto parchment-lined baking trays, spacing each mound approximately 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
06 - Allow the cookies to cool on the tray for several minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Once fully cooled, dust each cookie generously with powdered sugar.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Ensuring the butter is fully softened before mixing will yield a more even, tender crumb. Do not overmix after adding the dry ingredients to maintain the desired texture.
