Sugar Cookie Cheesecake Delight (Recipe for Printing)

Cream cheese and sugar cookies combine for a luscious layered dessert with a soft, golden crust.

# What You Need:

→ Crust

01 - 1 package (16.5 oz) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
02 - 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, optional

→ Filling

03 - 3 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
04 - 1 cup granulated sugar
05 - 3 large eggs
06 - 1 cup sour cream
07 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ Topping and Garnish

08 - 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping
09 - Extra sugar cookies, crumbled or whole, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven to 325°F and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
02 - Press the sugar cookie dough evenly across the bottom of the prepared pan. If the dough is too soft, mix in all-purpose flour to firm it.
03 - Bake the crust for 10 to 12 minutes until lightly golden. Remove and allow to cool slightly.
04 - Using a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add eggs individually, mixing after each addition, then blend in sour cream and vanilla extract until incorporated.
05 - Pour the cheesecake batter over the cooled crust. Place in oven and bake for 50 to 55 minutes, or until the center is almost set.
06 - Turn off the oven, crack the door, and let the cheesecake cool slowly inside for 1 hour.
07 - Transfer cheesecake to refrigerator and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight. Before serving, top with whipped cream or whipped topping and garnish with crumbled or whole sugar cookies.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Stir a small squeeze of fresh lemon juice into the cheesecake batter to enhance the flavor and brighten the finished dessert.
