Juicy chicken with creamy peanut sauce, crisp vegetables, and warm tortillas combine for bold, satisfying flavor.

# What You Need:

→ Marinade

01 - 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon lime juice
04 - 1 tablespoon sesame oil
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - Salt and black pepper, to taste

→ Peanut Sauce

07 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
08 - 2 tablespoons soy sauce
09 - 1 tablespoon lime juice
10 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
11 - 1 teaspoon sriracha, optional
12 - 1 to 2 tablespoons water, as needed for consistency

→ Wrap Filling

13 - 4 large whole wheat or spinach tortillas
14 - 1 cup shredded carrots
15 - 1 cup julienned cucumber
16 - 1 cup shredded red cabbage
17 - 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

# How to Make It:

01 - In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, lime juice, sesame oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Add chicken breasts and ensure each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.
02 - While the chicken marinates, in a separate bowl whisk together peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and sriracha if desired. Gradually incorporate water until the sauce is smooth yet thick enough to coat the back of a spoon. Set aside.
03 - Preheat a grill or large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place marinated chicken onto the cooking surface. Cook for 6 to 7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F and the chicken is no longer pink. Remove from heat and allow to rest for several minutes, then slice into thin strips.
04 - Lay each tortilla flat. Arrange sliced chicken in the center, then top with shredded carrots, julienned cucumber, shredded red cabbage, and chopped cilantro. Drizzle with peanut sauce.
05 - Fold the sides of the tortilla toward the center, then roll tightly from the bottom to encase the filling. Slice the wrap on a diagonal and arrange on a plate. Serve with lime wedges and extra peanut sauce for dipping if desired.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For best flavor and tenderness, allow the chicken to marinate for at least 20 minutes and up to 1 hour.
02 - Let the cooked chicken rest before slicing to retain moisture and achieve optimal juiciness.
03 - Replace chicken with grilled tofu or tempeh for a plant-based option.
04 - Use gluten-free tortillas and tamari to accommodate gluten-free diets.
05 - Peanut butter can be swapped with almond or sunflower seed butter if needed due to allergies.
