→ Cream Cheese Frosting

10 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
11 - 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
12 - 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
13 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

# How to Make It:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together 1 cup softened unsalted butter and 1 cup granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
02 - Beat in 2 large eggs, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup sour cream until combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
04 - Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until a smooth dough forms; avoid overmixing.
05 - Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing apart. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cookies are set but not browned. Cool completely on wire racks.
06 - In a medium bowl, beat together 1/2 cup softened unsalted butter and 4 ounces softened cream cheese until smooth. Add 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Beat until creamy and well blended.
07 - Spread a generous layer of cream cheese frosting onto each cooled cookie. Serve or store in an airtight container.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Chilling the dough briefly in the refrigerator can help control spreading for a thicker cookie.
