Add the flour and finely chopped walnuts to the creamed mixture, blending until a soft dough forms.

Divide the dough and roll into 2.5 cm (1-inch) balls. Arrange balls evenly on the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until the undersides are golden while tops remain pale.

Cool cookies briefly, then roll in additional powdered sugar while still warm. Place on a wire rack to cool completely, rolling a second time in powdered sugar once fully cooled.
