01 - 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
02 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon sea salt
04 - 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
06 - 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven to 425°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
02 - Combine halved Brussels sprouts, olive oil, sea salt, black pepper, and garlic powder if using, in a large mixing bowl. Toss thoroughly to coat.
03 - Transfer the sprouts to the prepared baking sheet, cut side down. Spread out to ensure even roasting, allowing space between each piece.
04 - Use the bottom of a sturdy glass or a large spatula to gently press each sprout until slightly flattened.
05 - Place tray in oven and roast for 20 to 25 minutes, or until edges are crisp and golden brown.
06 - Remove from oven. Drizzle with lemon juice and adjust seasoning to taste.
07 - Plate while hot and serve immediately for best texture.
