Rotel Sausage Cream Cheese Rolls (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage or Italian sausage
02 - 8 oz softened cream cheese
03 - 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes & green chilies, very well drained
04 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a large bowl, mix cooked sausage, softened cream cheese, and drained Rotel until well combined.
03 - Open crescent roll dough and separate into triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to create slimmer triangles.
04 - Use a small scoop or spoon to place filling on the widest end of each triangle. Roll tightly toward the tip and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
05 - Bake for 15 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown.
06 - Let the rolls cool slightly for about 5 minutes, then serve warm. Enjoy as-is or with a dipping sauce like ranch.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, ensure the Rotel tomatoes are very well drained to prevent soggy filling.
02 - The crescent rolls can be prepared and baked ahead of time, then warmed before serving.
