# What You Need:

→ Pumpkin Cheesecake Layer

01 - 16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
02 - 2/3 cup granulated white sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons cornstarch
04 - 1/2 cup pumpkin puree, at room temperature
05 - 1/4 cup sour cream, at room temperature
06 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
07 - 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
08 - 2 large eggs, at room temperature

→ Brownie Layer

09 - 6 tablespoons all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled
10 - 1/2 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
11 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter
13 - 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
14 - 3 large eggs, at room temperature
15 - 1 1/4 cups granulated white sugar
16 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang on two sides for easy removal.
02 - In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth. Add cornstarch, pumpkin puree, sour cream, vanilla extract, and pumpkin pie spice. Mix until fully incorporated. Add the eggs one at a time, blending just until combined.
03 - In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chocolate chips together in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.
04 - In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and granulated sugar until well combined. Add the cooled chocolate mixture and vanilla extract; mix until smooth. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
05 - Pour two-thirds of the brownie batter into the prepared pan, spreading evenly. Gently layer the pumpkin cheesecake filling over the brownie base. Drop spoonfuls of the remaining brownie batter on top and use a knife or skewer to create a marbled swirl.
06 - Transfer to the oven and bake for 25 minutes, or until the center is just set and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out with a few moist crumbs.
07 - Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. Once cooled, use the parchment overhang to lift the brownies from the pan. Slice into squares before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For best results, bring all ingredients to room temperature before beginning to ensure a smooth, even batter and cheesecake layer.
