# What You Need:

→ Cookie Dough

01 - 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
02 - 2 ounces cream cheese, softened
03 - 1 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
05 - 1 large egg
06 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
09 - 6 Pop Tarts, coarsely chopped

→ Topping and Glaze

10 - 2 Pop Tarts, chopped
11 - 1 cup powdered sugar
12 - 1 1/2 tablespoons water

# How to Make It:

01 - Set oven to 350°F (177°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat softened butter and cream cheese on medium speed until completely smooth.
03 - Add granulated sugar and light corn syrup; continue mixing until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
04 - Mix in the egg until fully incorporated.
05 - Add all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt to the mixture; blend until a cohesive dough forms.
06 - Stir in 6 coarsely chopped Pop Tarts, ensuring even distribution throughout the dough.
07 - Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing apart. Flatten each portion to approximately 1/2 inch thickness with the palm of your hand.
08 - Press chopped pieces from the remaining 2 Pop Tarts onto the surface of each cookie.
09 - Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until edges are just turning golden. Remove from oven while centers remain soft for optimal texture.
10 - Allow cookies to rest on the baking sheet until set, then transfer to a wire rack to fully cool.
11 - Combine powdered sugar and water in a small bowl, whisking until smooth. Drizzle glaze over cooled cookies before serving.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Let the cookies cool completely before glazing to prevent the icing from melting. For best results, serve the same day.
