Halve each bacon slice. Wrap one strip of bacon around each sausage piece and secure with a toothpick or arrange each one seam-side down in a muffin tin.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and finely diced jalapeno, blending until smooth.

Transfer cream cheese filling to a quart-sized resealable bag and snip off one corner. Pipe a generous amount on top of each bacon-wrapped sausage.

Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the cream cheese topping on each pig shot.

Place the prepared pig shots in the oven and bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the bacon is golden and crisp.

Carefully remove hot pig shots from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
