Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a skull-shaped baking mold or Halloween skull pan to prevent sticking.

Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface. Cut into pieces sized to fit the skull molds and press dough evenly into the bottom and sides of each cavity.

Spoon 1 tablespoon of pizza sauce into each dough cavity. Layer with shredded mozzarella and a slice of pepperoni or desired toppings.

Top with another small piece of dough, pressing the edges to seal. Brush the top surface with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the skulls are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.

Let mini pizzas cool for several minutes. Carefully remove from the molds and invert to reveal the skull faces.
