Preheat the broiler. Microwave meatballs, covered, on high until heated through, approximately 4-6 minutes.

Place sourdough bread slices on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush one side of each slice with olive oil and broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Rub the toasted bread with the cut surface of the garlic clove and discard the garlic.

Tear the toasted bread into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F.

In a bowl, mix pasta sauce, 1/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese with the meatballs. Toss to combine.

Pour the meatball mixture over the bread pieces in the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Bake, uncovered, for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheeses are melted.
