→ Main Ingredients

01 - 12 ounces frozen fully cooked Italian meatballs
02 - 4 slices sourdough bread
03 - 1-1/2 teaspoons olive oil
04 - 1 garlic clove, halved
05 - 1-1/2 cups pasta sauce with mushrooms
06 - 1/2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the broiler. Microwave meatballs, covered, on high until heated through, approximately 4-6 minutes.
02 - Place sourdough bread slices on an ungreased baking sheet. Brush one side of each slice with olive oil and broil 4-6 inches from the heat for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Rub the toasted bread with the cut surface of the garlic clove and discard the garlic.
03 - Tear the toasted bread into bite-sized pieces and transfer to a greased 11x7-inch baking dish. Lower the oven temperature to 350°F.
04 - In a bowl, mix pasta sauce, 1/4 cup of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/4 cup of the Parmesan cheese with the meatballs. Toss to combine.
05 - Pour the meatball mixture over the bread pieces in the baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top. Bake, uncovered, for 15-18 minutes, or until the cheeses are melted.
