# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, linguine, or penne)
02 - 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
03 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
04 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
05 - 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
06 - 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
07 - 1 tablespoon lemon zest
08 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
09 - 1 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
10 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
11 - 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
12 - 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

# Instructions:

01 - Boil the pasta in salted water according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
02 - Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and slice into strips.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, and Parmesan. Simmer for 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened. Add red pepper flakes if using.
04 - Toss cooked pasta and sliced chicken into the sauce. Add reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce. Stir until evenly coated.
05 - Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan. Serve warm with lemon wedges.
