Korean Strawberry Milk (Recipe for Printing)

# What You Need:

→ Strawberries

01 - 1 pound strawberries, finely diced and divided (2 cups plus 3/4 cup)

→ Sweetener

02 - 1/4 cup cane sugar or brown sugar, divided

→ Milk

03 - 2 to 3 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk, such as soy

→ Citrus

04 - Large squeeze lemon or lime juice

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine 3/4 cup diced strawberries with 1 tablespoon sugar in a bowl. Stir thoroughly and set aside to macerate until juices release.
02 - Add 2 cups diced strawberries to a saucepan with 3 tablespoons sugar and a generous squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often, until the mixture breaks down and becomes syrup-like.
03 - Transfer the strawberry syrup to the refrigerator and cool completely until cold.
04 - For each serving, add 2 to 3 tablespoons strawberry syrup to a glass. Pour in 3/4 cup non-dairy milk, add ice if desired, and top with 1 tablespoon macerated strawberries. Stir to blend. Adjust syrup and strawberry quantities to taste.
05 - Refrigerate unused strawberry syrup and macerated berries in airtight containers.
