Roll portions of dough into small balls and gently flatten to create macaron shell shapes. Use a toothpick to score a ridge around the edge for authentic texture.

Place shaped shells on a tray and dry completely at room temperature for approximately 24 hours.

Paint dried shells as desired: orange for pumpkins (add brown or green stems), white with black details for ghosts, or purple/green with black accents for witches. Allow paint to dry thoroughly.
