Garlic Noodles Under Twenty (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 oz spaghetti
02 - 4 tbsp unsalted butter
03 - 6 cloves garlic, minced
04 - 2 tbsp soy sauce
05 - 1 tbsp brown sugar
06 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
07 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
08 - 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
02 - In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
03 - Add soy sauce and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir until sugar dissolves.
04 - Toss in the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.
05 - Stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Mix until noodles are evenly coated and glossy.
06 - Serve hot, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

01 - Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor.
