08 - 3 1/2 ounces Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange, chopped

→ Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and Decoration

09 - 7 tablespoons salted butter, at room temperature
10 - 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
12 - 1 tablespoon boiling water
13 - 7 Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange Buttons
14 - 7 red Smarties
15 - 7 mini pretzels
16 - 14 edible candy eyes

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line two 8-inch round cake pans.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, sift together self-rising flour, caster sugar, and cocoa powder.
03 - Add vegetable oil, whole milk, eggs, and orange zest. Mix until smooth and well blended.
04 - Gently fold the chopped Dairy Milk Chocolate Orange into the batter.
05 - Pour batter evenly into prepared pans and bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center emerges clean. Cool cakes in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
06 - In a medium bowl, beat together salted butter, confectioners’ sugar, and cocoa powder until light. Add boiling water and continue whisking until creamy and spreadable.
07 - Once cake layers are cooled, frost the top of the bottom layer, place the second layer on top, and cover the entire cake with a smooth layer of chocolate buttercream. Decorate to resemble reindeer faces using chocolate buttons for muzzles, red Smarties for noses, pretzels for antlers, and edible eyes.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For enhanced orange flavor, use freshly grated zest and avoid incorporating bitter white pith.
