# How to Make It:

01 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and heavy cream.
02 - Beat the mascarpone and cream with a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
03 - Fold in the amaretto liqueur, cherry juice, and vanilla extract to the mascarpone mixture, blending until evenly combined.
04 - In a separate small bowl, stir together the granulated sugar and cherry preserves until well blended.
05 - Add the sugar-preserve blend to the mascarpone base and beat for one additional minute to integrate.
06 - Arrange ladyfingers in a single layer at the bottom of a medium serving dish.
07 - Generously brush or spoon cherry juice and amaretto mixture over the ladyfingers to moisten.
08 - Scatter chopped cherries evenly over the soaked ladyfingers.
09 - Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the cherries, smoothing into an even layer.
10 - Repeat layering with additional ladyfingers, remaining soaking liquid, cherries, and the rest of the cream.
11 - Finish with a generous dusting of cocoa powder and sprinkle of dark chocolate shavings over the top.
12 - Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
