# What You Need:

→ Dough and Cheese

01 - 13 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
02 - 6 to 7 mozzarella cheese sticks

→ Egg Wash

03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 tablespoon water

→ Herb Butter Topping

05 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
06 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese, divided
07 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
08 - 1/2 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
09 - 1/2 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
10 - 1 clove garlic, grated

→ For Serving

11 - 1 jar marinara or pesto sauce, for dipping

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Cut the pizza dough into 30 evenly sized squares. Slice mozzarella cheese sticks into 30 bite-sized pieces, about 1 inch each.
03 - Place a piece of mozzarella in the center of each dough square. Encase the cheese by shaping each square into a sealed ball.
04 - Arrange the filled dough balls seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet in the design of a tree, ensuring the balls are touching. Whisk together egg and water, then brush the tops of the dough balls with the egg wash.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 16 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
06 - While bread bakes, melt the butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Stir in half of the parmesan, chopped parsley, rosemary, basil, and grated garlic. Remove the bread from the oven, immediately brush with the herb butter, then sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.
07 - Present bread warm with marinara and/or pesto for dipping.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Ensure each dough ball is well sealed to prevent cheese from leaking during baking.
