# What You Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 1 can (10.5 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
02 - 1/2 cup whole milk
03 - 1 teaspoon soy sauce
04 - 4 cups cut green beans (use two 15-ounce cans, one 16-ounce bag frozen, or 1.5 pounds fresh green beans)
05 - 1 1/3 cups crispy French fried onions, divided
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, or to taste

# How to Make It:

01 - Spray a 9x9 inch casserole dish evenly with nonstick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
02 - For fresh green beans: wash, trim, and cut into bite-size segments, then blanch in boiling water for 2 minutes and drain. For canned beans: drain thoroughly. For frozen beans: thaw completely and drain excess moisture.
03 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the condensed cream of mushroom soup and milk until smooth and well combined. Add the soy sauce and mix again.
04 - Gently fold the green beans and 2/3 cup of the French fried onions into the soup mixture. Season with ground black pepper and mix until everything is evenly coated.
05 - Spoon the green bean mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread it in an even layer.
06 - Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25 minutes. Remove from oven, stir the casserole, then sprinkle the remaining French fried onions over the top. Return to oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the onions are golden brown.
07 - Bake at 350°F in an air fryer for 10 minutes, then stir the casserole. Sprinkle remaining onions on top and air fry for 2 more minutes, until onions are crisp and golden.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For best flavor and texture, fresh green beans offer a crisp bite, but canned or frozen are convenient alternatives.
