# What You Need:

→ Cake Component

01 - 1 box chocolate cake mix or equivalent homemade chocolate cake

→ Whipped Cream

02 - 1 cup heavy cream
03 - 1/2 cup powdered sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Fruit Layer

05 - 2 cups cherries, pitted, canned or fresh, with juices or syrup
06 - 1/4 cup cherry juice, reserved from canned cherries or fresh

→ Pudding Layer

07 - 2 cups vanilla pudding, store-bought or homemade

→ Garnishes

08 - 1/2 cup dark chocolate shavings or grated chocolate
09 - 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, optional, for garnish

# How to Make It:

01 - Bake the chocolate cake according to package instructions or your preferred homemade recipe. Allow to cool completely before assembling.
02 - Combine heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl. Whip until stiff peaks form and the mixture holds its shape.
03 - Cut the cooled chocolate cake into 1-inch cubes. Drizzle the cherry juice over the cubes to moisten and infuse with cherry flavor.
04 - Arrange a layer of chocolate cake cubes in the bottom of a trifle dish or individual serving glasses. Top with a portion of cherries and their juice, followed by a layer of vanilla pudding. Add a generous spoonful of whipped cream, then sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings.
05 - Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with a layer of whipped cream. Garnish the top with additional chocolate shavings and dust with cocoa powder if desired.
06 - Refrigerate the assembled trifle for at least 2 hours to allow flavors to meld and layers to set. Serve chilled.

# Extra Tips:

01 - For best results, assemble the trifle in advance and chill thoroughly to enhance the flavors and texture.
