# What You Need:

→ Produce

01 - 3 ripe but firm pears, Bartlett or Bosc, halved and cored
02 - 1/3 cup fresh cranberries

→ Dairy

03 - 3 ounces goat cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Pantry

05 - 2 tablespoons honey, plus more for drizzling
06 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F.
02 - Slice pears in half lengthwise, remove cores, and if necessary, trim the bottoms so the halves sit flat.
03 - Place pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish and top each with a small pat of unsalted butter.
04 - Transfer pears to the oven and bake for 20 minutes, or until the flesh is fork-tender and golden.
05 - While pears roast, combine cranberries and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Simmer gently until the cranberries begin to burst and soften.
06 - Remove baked pears from the oven and allow them to cool slightly. Spoon goat cheese into the center of each pear half.
07 - Spoon the cranberry mixture over the goat cheese. Drizzle with additional honey if desired.
08 - Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and fresh mint leaves if desired. Serve warm or slightly chilled.

# Extra Tips:

01 - Use firm, ripe pears to prevent them from falling apart during roasting. Warm goat cheese melds beautifully with the fruit and honey.
